A step-by-step guide to check if a Google user account can access a Google Analytics View

In this guide, we'll walk through checking that your Google Analytics user account has read-access to your desired Google Analytics View.

1. Go to Google Analytics

Browse and sign-in to https://analytics.google.com/

2. Select your profile photo in the top-right corner

Google allows multiple Google user accounts, so let's make sure that we're using the correct one!

3. Select the same Google user account that you're using in Arc Analytics

In the example below, we're currently using michael@notchcycling.com.

4. Select the Google account/view in the top-left corner

5. Select the Google Analytics View that you want to add in Arc Analytics

If you cannot find the Google Analytics View, then one of two things need to happen:

  1. Give your Google user account permission to access to View

  2. or, add another Google user account that has access to the View
